we are still here

It's been almost 3 months since I have posted. Life just flew by and now the new year is upon us. Hopefully, I will better about updating than I have. that can be a new year's resolution. We got Benny a new laptop for school/home buisness and it is so much easier to navigate, not to mention very fast which helps me because I don't have the time to wait around on anything!

BIG GAME! Go Vols! Go Dawgs too! :)

Today is a big day at our house. It's Ga/Tn and it's the only time I don't cheer for Georgia. I have to cheer for my vols. Benny is at the game with friends. I was going but tatum is having trouble with taking bottles so of course we are staying. Here are the kids in their hats! Funny!

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice last night and it was fun. Savannah was dressed like The Little Mermaid bride. Jackson was scared b/c there was a HUGE Ursula that was about 25 feet tall. It was worth it to see Savannah's face when Cinderalla got married. we also got to sit right in front of stephanie citty and her family. Hey steph!

Who's your Hero?

I heard the best story Wednesday night that I must share! Some of you may know Jonathan Booth, he grew up at RBCOC. Since then he has made a career in the Marines and has been stationed at Okinawa, Japan. While he was on a short stay in the Philippines he was in a situation where he said things just didn't look right. There were a couple of guys hanging out all day accross the street from where he was. He asked someone what they were doing and the stranger said, "Probably waiting on the bus." Well, he didn't ignore his feeling and gut and decided to investigate.
Do you remember a couple of years ago when those night clubs in Bali were bombed by extreme terrorists? Guess who those 2 men were? You're right, it was those 2 that were wanted by the anti-terrorist team and FBI. They were arrested and are now in custody! Jonathan is a real life HERO!!!!!! Praise the Lord for him and his courage. Let's all be inspired by him and don't be afraid to be a Hero!
Jonathan received numerous medals and had them on at church on Sunday. If you know him or his family say Thank you to him. We can all sleep a little easier tonight because of him!

Pumpkin Farm

We went to Rainsville, Al last Sunday to "Down on the Farm" with G-Mommy and G-daddy. This farm was awesome! We took a hayride to a pumpkin patch and each person picked a pumpkin. Then we painted them in the barn, took a ride on the cow train, petted the farm animals, and played in the corn pit! It was so fun. We finished our trip with a stop at none other than Cracker Barrel! Yummy! :)

Finally!

Hey everyone! Thanks to Amy I am joining the 21st century! I thought this would be a great oppurtunity to share with our friends and family. Our kids are growing so fast that it is hard to believe. I hope I can keep ya'll up to date on all the crazy happenings that we experience! Please bare with me while I get used to blogging! More to come......
